Rockingham is Europe’s fastest banked oval racing circuit, with the unbeaten lap record for the 1.5 mile oval set at 24.719 seconds by Tony Kanaan in his Ford/Lola Champ Car on 22nd September, 2001 - an average speed of 215.397mph!
Rockingham offers multiple in-field circuit configurations, featuring hairpins, straights and chicanes with ample passing and run-off areas.
It hosts a range of race events including the British Touring Car Championship, British F3/GT and the Pickup Truck Racing Championship on the oval.
Throughout the rest of the season, Rockingham hosts activities both on and of track, including track days, testing, manufacturer events, corporate and gift experience days and exhibitions.

Rockingham actually consists of upto 13 layouts. We will focus on the International Long layout (as per the picture above) as it is the layout we are most likely to use.
Rockingham's International Long Circuit is the longest of the venue's configurations at over 2.5 miles. The circuit has been used for race meetings in the early years of Rockingham but is now most regularly used by car track day organisers.
The circuit combines a long run from Gretton to Deane which includes the flat out Turn 4 and the very quick Turn 1 chicane. This layout also changes the profile of Pif Paf and introduces the double left-hander at Kirby.

By road it is easily accessible from the A1, M1, A14, A43 and A6116. If you are using a sat nav to find the circuit, please enter the postcode NN17 5AF.
